The BIT-PT510 is a high-precision, small-sized pan-tilt unit engineered with a heavy-duty stepper motor and robust worm gear transmission. It supports a top load capacity of 10kg/22lb. This unit features continuous 360° pan rotation and ±60° tilt rotation with adjustable speeds reaching up to 30°/s.
Equipped with high repeatability and minimal backlash, the BIT-PT510 supports payloads such as heavy-duty camera housings, specialized optical instruments, searchlights, and loudspeakers. It is widely used in harsh deployment environments, including coastal defense, border control, and forest fire prevention systems.
Weighing only 3.5kg, the BIT-PT503 is our most compact pan-tilt unit. It is specifically designed for mobile applications, lightweight sensor alignment, and systems requiring small footprint installations without compromising pointing accuracy. It offers a maximum payload capacity of 3.5kg/7.7lb.
For dynamic target acquisition and high-speed tracking, the BIT-PT410 features a rotation capability of up to 100°/second. Using an specialized worm gear drive mechanism along the tilt axis, it supports a 10kg/22lb payload while allowing a wide tilt rotation envelope of -90° to +40°.
The BIT-PT850 is a heavy-duty industrial positioning platform with a top payload limit of 50kg/110lb. Popular across demanding industries for over a decade, it is constructed for harsh environments, featuring a rugged housing, zero-drift self-locking systems, and low failure rates under critical operational conditions.

Key technical parameters and performance criteria for procuring pan-tilt positioning systems
When evaluating a manufacturer's load capacity rating, distinguish between static payload limits and dynamic limits. Dynamic limits account for wind resistance, center of gravity offset, and acceleration forces. A camera housing mounted far from the rotation axis creates a torque arm that requires significantly higher holding torque than a centered payload.
For long-range optics and laser systems, minor gear play (backlash) can displace target indicators by dozens of meters at far distances.
