This prevents motion blur and pixelation during high-speed rotation.

The BIT-PT510 is a small, highly precise pan-tilt unit engineered to hold up to 10kg (22lb) payloads. It uses stepper motors coupled with worm-gear drive assemblies to achieve backlash-free positioning. With a pan range of 360° and tilt of ±60°, it operates at speeds up to 30°/second. Modern IP surveillance systems place hardware video encoding boards (supporting H.264, H.265, and H.266 codecs) directly inside the camera housing, adjacent to the sensor. The digital video data and pan-tilt telemetry controls are multiplexed over a single Ethernet stream using standard protocols like ONVIF Profile S/T/M or direct RTSP. This design reduces system cabling, minimizes latency, and keeps signals clear over long distances.
