BIT-CCTV
Engineered for extreme sub-zero weather conditions, heavy wind loads, and continuous Baltic coast monitoring operations.
Sweden represents one of the world's most demanding arenas for electro-optical sensors and heavy-duty positioning payloads. Characterized by aggressive maritime salt spray along the Baltic Sea coastline, sub-zero Arctic temperatures reaching down to -40°C in Northern regions such as Norrland, and strict regulatory standards regarding automated safety and industrial emissions, the requirements for Pan Tilt Units (PTUs) go far beyond standard video surveillance brackets.
Swedish coastal towers, shipping vessels, and wind farms face massive wind velocities combined with atmospheric icing. Our Pan Tilt systems utilize active internal heating elements, specialized low-temperature synthetic lubricants, and high-torque worm-gear drive setups to maintain sub-milliradian pointing accuracy despite massive crosswinds and freezing rain.
Built on two decades of design, manufacturing, and global deployment of precision positioning systems.
Established in 2005, Blue Icon (Tianjin) Technology Co. Ltd, a national high-tech company, specializes in the design, engineering, manufacturing, and sales of high-quality CCTV surveillance equipment including pan-tilt heads/positioners, long-range laser PTZ cameras, IR thermal imaging PTZ cameras, dual-vision PTZ cameras, camera housing enclosures, mounting brackets, and accessories.
With over 18 years of industry experience, we offer fully customized products from 3kg to 150kg load pan-tilt units, backed by a strong OEM & ODM service workflow. Our facilities maintain strict ISO9001 certification to guarantee durability in harsh commercial and defense environments globally.
The global security, border control, and aerospace sectors are shifting toward automation and multi-spectrum surveillance. To meet these demands, pan-tilt positioners are evolving from basic mechanical drives into intelligent, networked, and feedback-controlled motion stations.
While classic worm-gear drives offer excellent self-locking performance for static monitoring, the industry is increasingly moving toward direct-drive brushless motors coupled with high-precision absolute optical encoders. This ensures real-time feedback loop correction, allowing systems to counteract high-altitude vibrations (e.g., wind towers) and retain target lock over kilometres of distance without backlash errors.
Our 50+ national patents and advanced quality assurance setups guarantee failure-free deployment under heavy load requirements.

Payload solutions stretching up to 120kg for multi-sensor optoelectronic tracking setups.
Our product lineup is divided into light, medium, and heavy-duty configurations, permitting perfect alignment with structural payloads and sensor envelopes. Below we analyze our core architectures widely deployed across the Nordics.
The BIT-PT510 is a high-reliability compact pan-tilt unit carrying a top load capacity of 10kg (22lb). It uses high-precision micro-stepping motors integrated with an ultra-fine worm gear assembly to eliminate positioning slip. Key features include:
For applications where weight and profile constraints are limiting, the BIT-PT503 is our lightest pan tilt mechanism. Weighing only 3.5kg, it handles payload instrumentation up to 3.5kg (7.7lb). This unit is particularly suitable for mounting on portable masts, telescopic poles, and small mobile tracking vehicles used in field telemetry across regional Swedish grid stations.
When target tracking speed is vital—such as drone detection or coastal target lock—the BIT-PT410 offers an accelerated drive architecture capable of rotating at a top speed of 100°/second. Integrating worm-gear locking mechanisms in the tilt plane, it provides a broad tilt operational range of -90° to +40°.
The BIT-PT850 has been our flagship 50kg load positioner for a decade. It features a robust cast-aluminum body, highly sealed drive channels to reject mud and particulate ingress, and operates reliably in high wind conditions. This unit is widely installed on Swedish marine vessels, coastal lighthouses, and heavy infrastructure perimeters.
Our positioning units protect key infrastructure, borders, and industrial plants across 50 countries globally.
